Corendon partners with sustainability data hub BeCause
Corendon is proud to announce its partnership with software provider BeCause, aiming to bolster its sustainability transparency and further its commitment to sustainable tourism.
This collaboration will enable Corendon to systematically collect, analyze, and report data on its accommodation partners, including sustainability certifications. Information from all types of certification bodies in the hospitality industry is now accurately collected and updated in Corendons accommodation database. By using an API connection, this information will also be visible to customers on Corendons website.
“One of our most important goals is to support our customers in making a better choice for their holidays: staying at a hotel with a sustainability certificate,” says Corendons Sustainability Manager Floor Bregman. “This partnership will not only support this mission, but will also allow us to identify hotels that are not working with certifications yet.”

This initiative complements Corendons existing sustainability efforts, such as the implementation of the Code of Conduct for suppliers. With this code, Corendons suppliers agree to adhere to certain standards with regards to for example environmental impact and working conditions.
